28 November 2007 - Katarapko Creek - Murray River National Park South Australia

Turn off the Sturt Highway about 5k west of Berri along Winkie Road, Bulpitt Road, Davis Road and Katarapko Crescent. After entering the National Park follow the signs to sites 1 to 17 which is about 2.6k along a corrugated road which may be slippery when wet. We found site 6 to be the best as it was within walking distance to the clean long drop toilets and the site was level and close to the river. Camping here would be better after rain to freshen up the landscape but we enjoyed our stay and managed to catch a good size Yellow Belly.
