26th January 2008 - Adelaide - Australia Day - South Australia

Our stay at Brownhill Creek Caravan Park Just out of Adelaide turned out to be exciting with the park being evacuated on Thursday the 17th January due to a bushfire in the surrounding hills. This park, located in a bushland setting, was handy to local public transport and enabled us to tour the city using a day tripper for $3.80 each. Rundle Mall and a tram trip to Glenelg were first on our list followed by a trip on the O’Bahn out to the eastern suburbs. We are now at Christies Beach south of Adelaide and the local council has provided entertainment for all next to the Caravan Park which is right on a beautiful sandy beach.
