Cockatoo Lake Reserve is about 30k North of Naracoorte and 105k South of Keith. There is a turn off the Riddoch Highway along Morambro Lane to the reserve that is sealed except for the last 3k. The lake is now full and fishing, boating and camping can be enjoyed in the camping area on the edge of the lake. There is some shade and plenty of grassy, level open space for all to enjoy. The toilet is septic, but it is advisable to take your own drinking water. A popular spot with the locals at weekends, we recommend that you keep your stay to during the week so that you are able to enjoy the serenity.
