Koolunga is located North of Clare and South of Crystal Brook between Red Hill and Yacka. This small friendly town offers level camping sites that are well shaded, a hot shower, septic toilets, town water, rubbish bins, and a shelter shed. Power is available if required and payment may be made at the local hotel. The road from Clare via Brinkworth is sealed all the way.

26th January 2011 – Whitecliff Reserve – Koolunga / Yacka District
By travelling along a reasonable dirt road towards Yacka, you will come across Whitecliff Reserve that has free camping on a creek. The camping sites are well shaded, and reasonably level and close to a deep waterhole that is popular with the locals on the weekend and holidays for both fishing and swimming. A long drop toilet and bins are also provided.
